Welcome to Realms & Relics Coffee Company
specialty small batch coffee roasted by an artist who fell in love with the craft. we're starting at farmers markets and pop-ups in maple grove, building community before we build brick and mortar, because that's how you create something real. no corporate bullshit, no pretension, just obsessively good coffee and the kind of creative, community-first energy suburban Minneapolis is missing. whether you're here for the beans, the art, or the journey, welcome to realms & relics.

Community First
you'll never see us guilt-tripping you into buying more or running pushy sales tactics. every decision starts with one question: does this genuinely serve the people here? we measure success by relationships, not just revenue, and profits get reinvested into better experiences, local partnerships, and building something that belongs to all of us. this is your space, we're just the ones making the coffee.

Creativity
cookie-cutter coffee shops are everywhere. we're building something that actually has a soul. from experimental roast profiles to collaborations with local artists to designing spaces that inspire rather than just accommodate, creative integrity drives everything we do. if it doesn't feel authentic or interesting, we're not doing it. period.

Quality
mediocre coffee is an insult to everyone involved—the farmers who grew it, us roasting it, and you drinking it. we're obsessive about sourcing, meticulous about roasting, and uncompromising about execution. you can taste the difference between "good enough" and "this is actually exceptional," and we never cut corners. not on the coffee, not on the experience, not on how we show up for this community.
About Realms & Relics
for nearly six years, I've been obsessing over coffee roasting. Treating it like the real business it would become, even while working my day job. first in California's oversaturated specialty scene, then here in Minnesota where I realized: the coffee landscape is weak, and there's room to build something different.
I fell in love with roasting because it's an art form. beans are my medium, heat and time are my tools, and every roast is a chance to bring out flavors you didn't know coffee could have. I come from design and marketing, but honestly, I'm an artist at heart. Whether that's content creation, digital work, analog pieces, or probably building furniture from burlap coffee sacks when my ADHD sends me on a side quest. realms & relics is an art project that happens to be about exceptional coffee.
we're launching early 2026 as a specialty roastery, starting with farmers markets, pop-ups, mobile catering, and online orders within Minnesota. the focus is roasting coffee and building community before we even have a physical space, online and local, one conversation at a time.
do I know everything about running a coffee business? nope. am I figuring it out? absolutely. but I know this: community-first companies win when they're real, and I'd rather build something authentic with you than something polished and fake.
the long game is ambitious. Multiple uniquely themed café locations that feel like actual second homes, our own bakery, direct farm partnerships, experimenting with every roasting style we can touch. but right now, it's about quality beans, building relationships, and proving maple grove deserves better coffee.
if you value quality, creativity, and supporting something local and real, welcome. let's build this together.
