So — what's an ACEO?

Art Cards, Editions and Originals a whole gallery the size of a baseball card.

ACEOs are tiny original artworks made to one fixed dimension: 2.5 by 3.5 inches, the size of a trading card. Artists have been trading and selling them for decades. The size is the only rule. The medium, the subject and the story are wide open.

Collectable

Cards that have already found a home

Kept here on purpose. A series only makes sense if you can see the whole of it, sold or not.

Who makes these

Devin, roaster first, painter on the slow mornings.

The cards started as something to do between roast profiles, and a means to start being creative again. A quick practice art session during morning coffee. Now they are art cards that can be collected and traded!

Acrylic, ink, watercolor and coffee wash are some of the mediums I play with. The wash is whatever was left in the pot.

How it ships

Sleeved, boarded, flat-packed

Penny sleeve, rigid rigid, rigid mailer. Ships from Maple Grove within two-three business days, orders ship out on Mondays

Living with it

Keep it out of the sun

Coffee wash and watercolor both fade in direct light. A standard 2.5 × 3.5 in card frame fits with no trimming, and UV glass will outlive all of us.

If it's not right

Fourteen days, no story needed

Send it back in its sleeve and we'll refund the card. We'd rather it hang somewhere it's loved than sit in a drawer at your place instead of ours.
